Each wrap is produced in partner workshops in Srinagar’s old weaving quarter — fair wages, safe conditions, and the continuation of a craft passed down for generations. No machines, no industrial waste, no chemicals. The carbon footprint is extremely low compared to machine-made cashmere.
The Changthangi goats live at 14,000–16,000 feet on the Changthang plateau in temperatures dropping to −40°C. Their ultra-fine fibre is gathered ethically during the natural moulting season — no shearing, no harm, no stress. One of the most humane luxury fibres in the world.
